FAQ's
How durable is my keepsake jewelry?
If properly cared for, your jewelry should last you for a very long time. I recommend purchasing gold-filled or solid gold jewelry for every day wear, while I recommend occasional wear for sterling silver jewelry. Not all metals are created equally, so this should be taken into consideration when choosing your keepsakes settings.
Jewelry should be taken off before bathing, applying perfume or prior to doing any strenuous physical labor.
How can I make special requests for inclusions or the design of my keepsake?
You can email me after placing your order at fifthsisterkeepsakes@gmail.com and we can bring your vision to life!
What inclusions can be made into a jewelry stone?
I am willing to work with breastmilk, umbilical cord, placenta, pregnancy test caps, ashes, flowers petals and hair.
How long will it take for my jewelry to be completed from ordering it to receiving it?
Processing times are currently 6-8 weeks from the time that I receive your inclusions. It could be faster than that, but I want to set expectations for the longest wait time.
How do I know it's my breastmilk?
It comes down to trust. I am a mother myself and know how sentimental these pieces of jewelry are. Aside from doing a DNA test, you have to trust that as a business owner I would NEVER put my reputation or business at risk by not showing integrity.
What is your refund and return policy?
Your jewelry components are ordered immediately after you place your order and for this reason refunds are not possible for the components. You may receive a partial refund of half the cost if requested within 72 hours of placing your order.
If your keepsake becomes damaged with 12 months of receipt, you may request a replacement. In this event, you must sent the original keepsake prior to receiving a replacement.
Will you store my breastmilk for future keepsakes?
Any excess breastmilk will be disposed of, but I will hold on to any leftover preserved breastmilk powder for 6 months in case you would like to order another keepsake. After that time, it will be thrown out.
